By categorising villages based on their service provision, we can ensure that development is concentrated where it is most sustainable. It's crucial that Tier 1 villages, which offer the best amenities, receive the attention and development they need to maintain their vibrancy. Conversely, Tier 4 settlements, with fewer facilities, should receive support to enhance their services rather than large-scale growth that may overwhelm them. This well-thought-out plan could lead to a balanced and thriving community across the district, allowing residents better access to what they truly need.

Understanding the distinct characteristics of our district is imperative for future development. This proposed settlement hierarchy captures the essence of our communities by providing a detailed framework that prioritises service access. It offers a refreshing perspective on how we approach growth. Having clear categorizations ensures resources are used wisely, allowing Tier 1 villages to flourish, while also providing support for Tier 4 settlements to improve their amenities.
