Our voice should shape the policy; therefore, I advocate for an inclusive approach, engaging local residents in the drafting process. By harnessing collective insights, we can ensure that the plan results in a vibrant neighbourhood we can all be proud of.

In reviewing the proposal for the Local Plan, it stands out that without a clear vision from our local authority, we risk losing the essence of what makes Example District special. The responsibilities placed on the local planning authority allow us to tailor our strategy to our specific needs, unlike areas that are under the purview of combined authorities. We need to protect our artistic heritage and promote the local economy through smart development strategies that do not compromise our environmental goals. Engaging with the Local Plan initiative for Example District is essential for aligning our development with local desires.
