This figure represents a dramatic and unreasonable rise in the population, which simply cannot be accommodated considering our already overstretched facilities. Parks, schools, and healthcare resources are struggling, and this new development would only exacerbate these issues further.

I am particularly concerned about the allocated 20% buffer, as it essentially allows for overdevelopment beyond what our local environment can sustain. Would the council conduct thorough checks about the environmental implications of such rapid growth? This proposal lacks foresight, and I believe the council should meticulously consider the limits of our community resources. The one-size-fits-all approach of using the Standard Method disregards the diverse and unique characteristics of the district.

Encouraging responsible growth patterns must be a priority, ensuring that the needs of current residents are met and preserved.
