The absence of a clear explanation regarding why the proposed bedroom mix has been structured in such a manner raises numerous concerns. Families require spacious accommodation, and restricting the number of larger homes could significantly impact social fabric by pushing them away from the area. Additionally, there is no consideration for evolving needs—what happens when young families grow? The proposal mainly focuses on smaller housing types while neglecting future demand, which is counterproductive. Furthermore, policy decisions should ideally stem from comprehensive community consultations, which seem lacking in this instance; I cannot find any evidence to suggest local families were involved in this key determination process.
