I have been closely following the updates on the Local Plan and I am delighted to see a renewed focus on integrating the recent NPPF changes, specifically those related to the Green Belt. During the last few years, I have noticed the increasing pressure on these areas, which serve not only as crucial ecological zones but as vital recreational spaces for the local community. The opportunity to contribute to this Regulation 19 consultation is paramount; it allows us to express our hopes for the preservation of our landscape while shaping a plan that addresses the needs of the populace. I truly believe that a robust Local Plan can pave the way for a harmonious balance between development and conservation, which should be our priority moving forward.
