I find the proposal for iterative evidence studies in the Local Plan to be a brilliant initiative! It reflects a modern understanding of how planning needs to adjust in line with ongoing developments and feedback from our community. Rather than sticking to a static model, this method allows planners to be proactive and not reactive. Each study can provide not just data, but context behind the trends we are observing, which is invaluable for ensuring that our plans are sound and sustainable. This thoughtful process will ultimately lead to better outcomes for future generations in our area.
