I truly commend the decision to have iterative evidence studies linked with each stage of the Local Plan! It’s about time we embraced a more responsive and nuanced approach to urban planning. By allowing updated studies to run alongside the plan, we are embracing the facts and ensuring that we don’t become locked in a static view of our community’s requirements. This also promotes a culture where ongoing engagement is possible, making citizens feel valued and involved. Mary and I believe that when everyone has a say, the plans designed will be far more effective and reflective of our collective vision.
