For individuals with disabilities, the plan does not seem to advocate for accessible housing or employment opportunities. As we strive to create inclusive communities, it is crucial that all developments adhere to accessibility standards so that everyone has a fair opportunity to benefit from growth. If we are not creating environments conducive to all, then we are failing not only these populations but the community as a whole. Inclusion should be a central pillar of any local development plan.
