I’m quite passionate about our local heritage and am alarmed at how the proposal seems to disregard our district's historic villages and the diverse ecosystems they support. Each building, each landscape holds stories that connect us to our past and influence our future. The loss of these treasures would not only affect our community spirit but also endanger wildlife that depend on these habitats for survival. Therefore, I believe it is imperative that we put a hold on this plan until a more detailed analysis of its effects on our heritage and biodiversity can be provided.
