As a lifelong resident of this area, the detrimental effects on our protected European sites due to this proposal keep me awake at night. I have seen the gradual decline of wildlife populations, which may be exacerbated by any new development that fails to consider these important habitats. It is imperative that an Appropriate Assessment be conducted; the thought of losing such incomprehensible natural beauty and its unique biodiversity is beyond distressing. We owe it to future generations to ensure these habitats are preserved and flourishing, not merely assessed.
