I find the projected growth figures laid out in this proposal to be alarmingly ambitious. This document fails to account for the wider implications of such growth without enhancing our current infrastructure and services. There is a stark lack of plans for improving critical facilities such as healthcare and education, particularly when the projected population increase rises significantly during the next decade. Our local schools and medical centres are already overstretched, and adding hundreds of new homes will only exacerbate these existing issues. Furthermore, the environmental implications of such extensive growth have not been adequately addressed, especially regarding carbon emissions which are already a pressing concern in our community. It is imperative that any plans for growth incorporate detailed assessments of infrastructure capabilities alongside the projected housing developments.
